think this means Verizon will be taking alittle longer to release it?

I am totally dissapointed with the no contract price, I have about 1.5 to 2 years left on my contract and my pearl is just a P.O.S. Maybe I can talk to the customer retention and get some type of deal worked out.

all i can say is i really hope bell steps up and comes out with some better pricing

I love every blackberry just as much as the next person, but I don't think I could pay 600$+ for one. Even with the storm that was unique, start of the art, the first bb touch screen it was still under 600$. While the tour looks nice and is what most of use are looking for, it doesn't contain anything that would make it worth 600$. It's just a more modern version of the 8330 it doesn't boast anything new or initiative or anything like that. I really hope Verizon doesn't try to pull the same get rich quick scheme that Telus is pulling.

The price is no surprise to me. News flash my American friends: We pay more for just about everything up here.

Is it just me, or is everyone else tired of the fact that Canadians pay the same for 3 year contracts as our neighbours down south pay 2 years ... this isn't fair! who in their right mind wants to stay stuck with the same phone for 3 years? ..definately not me!!

see the trick is that telus always gives you an option after 2 years. They give you about 200 off a new phone to buy. Or they will give you the early renewal which includes a new phone on any promotional pricing. When I got my storm I was 2 years in on a Moto Q and I received the storm 200 off and they slashed my month rate by 20 bucks a month for 3 years. So I shelled out about 400 for my storm and telus shelled out 920. Regardless its profit for them but It was a hell of a deal for me and a lot better than switching to the "almighty" rogers.

Wow... okay, well at Bell the pricing for new activations/full hardware upgrade loyalty credit elegibles on a 3 year term might be anywhere from $149.95 - $249.95 with a data package.

Now that's not official but a very good educated guess. If they give the same data discount as they are on the World.. the phone will be $99.95! :D

is it worth waiting for this? i have the storm and want to throw it at the wall everyday. i agree with those that said we retards that bought the storm should get be able to get credit for a new bb! the storm SUCKS and is the worst phone i ever had in my life! and i've had many!
